Teaching Phonics through songs and actions

I teach my little ones phonics through songs and actions.  I make the songs as simple and as short as possible.  Actions are including to make it really fun.  My children just love learning the phonic sounds this way.  Singing makes it easy to remember and the action makes it fun.  I also use flashcards to flash the letter as we sing out the sounds.  The children also get to take home a little booklet of all the songs we sing in school to color and share with their parents.
